Completing The SalePostage
Specifying a reasonable postage cost enables buyers to determine the total costs of purchasing your items. It's also good to include an estimated delivery time as it helps set expectations about when the item will arrive.

Additionally, if you accept payments via PayPal, make sure you use a postage service that offers tracking so you can be covered under PayPal Seller Protection for eligible items paid with PayPal.

Within Philippines, PhilPost is the most common way sellers send items to buyers.

Here's a quick postage checklist to help increase sales, save time:
Reduce emails from buyers
  • Clearly state postage costs and estimated delivery time
  • If postage costs varies by location, include a shipping calculator in your listing
Make your item more attractive to buyers
  • Bundle postage costs into the item price and advertise “Free Postage” in your title and description
  • Offer flat rates to specific areas (e.g. PHP 50.00 for registered mail within the Philippines)
  • Grab attention – offer free shipping
Generate repeat business
  • Offer postage discounts for multiple purchases
  • Enclose a customer support note with your eBay User ID and/or Store name to thank buyers for their business (use our sample message)
  • Offer a coupon to your buyer for future purchases
