Classified Ad listings (Note: Classified Ad listings are not available on eBay.com.sg, eBay.com.my and eBay.ph)

What you can revise in a listing depends on the type of the listing, the time left before it ends, and whether you have received any bids or sales.

Fixed price listings

If you list using the fixed price or multi-quantity fixed price format, before a sale you can change any information except the format. If purchases have not been made from the listing, you may change the listing title as long as there are at least 12 hours left before the listing ends. Also, the duration can't be extended if 2 or more hours have passed since the listing was submitted.

After a sale, you can make revisions. However, you won't be able to change the format, duration, category, or title of the listing. You can see the purchases (and information on the listing at the time of purchase) from the Purchase history page. Buyers can see the item they purchased from the Order details page.

Note: You can make limited changes if you have a pending Best Offer. After you respond to the Best Offer, you can change any information except the format and duration.

If you have pending Best Offers you can:

  • Change price and quantity

  • Add additional shipping options, payment methods, or a second category

  • Add or remove optional features (except subtitle)—you will not receive a refund for the cost of the feature

  • Change buyer requirements
