Your Secret Question

All new members create a secret question when they register. If you forget your password, answer your secret question and you'll be able to change it quickly. If you don't have a one, you can create a secret question now.

Tips:
  • Select a question you can answer easily but that will be difficult for others to guess. Treat your secret question like any other confidential information — don't share it.

  • For security purposes, you might try using an incorrect or irrelevant answer to the question. For example: If your secret question is "What is your favourite food?" you might choose "spinach" for your answer — actually your least favourite food.

  • If you create your own secret question, choose one that does not have an obvious answer.

If you forget the answer to your secret question:
eBay will send you an email with instructions for creating a new password. Your current password will remain active until you create a new one.
